The Liberty Public Market in San Diego is a “must stop”. The Public Market is a 7 day a week market and venue offering the best of what the San Diego region has to offer. The Market highlights a rustic environment with prepared foods, beer, wine, specialty cocktails, produce, fish, desserts and pastries, pastas, arts and crafts, a test kitchen, pop up dinners, and educational driven events. Spanish Village Art Center
The Spanish Village Art Center in San Diego has also received the Certificate of Excellence for their consistent 5-star reviews. The Art Center is situated between the Zoo and the Natural History Museum in the heart of Balboa Park and you are greeted by flowering bougainvillea’s and multi-colored cobblestones to escort you into the Villages center courtyard. Once there you will enjoy the artwork of over 200 artisans and craftspeople showcasing their work in and about 37 colorful working artist studios and galleries. The Spanish Village is filled with working artists with a variety of demonstrations in progress daily and visitors are encouraged to come and watch the art in action every day. There are also many live art demonstrations, as you stroll through the artist guild shows and sales, take a moment to enjoy refreshments while mingling with the many and varied talented artists that are always available to chat with. Each artist strives to preserve and enhance the beauty of the historical landmark by adding to its charm by making each of the studios unique entryways as individual as their artwork and by allowing the main patios to be rented for most special events.
