Serra Mesa is one of the communities within the City of San Diego that has its own charm. It offers outdoor activities, and exciting recreational opportunities for both locals and that of their visitors.
The community council’s website has described the many recreational areas and amenities that can be found in and around Serra Mesa. They also mentioned some of the shopping and retail destinations within the community named after Franciscan Friar and Mission de Alcala founder Junipero Serra.
“Serra Mesa is proud to support our local businesses, which include restaurants, grocery stores, dentists, retail, and other services. More than 23,000 residents live in a variety of single-family homes, apartments, and condominiums in Serra Mesa and enjoy our six elementary schools, Taft Middle School, and plentiful public parks and open space including Ruffin Canyon.”
